"Acostas attorneys objected to the White House letter, claiming it was an attempt to provide retroactive due process in court filings on Monday."
Now, we are back on track.

I don’t get all this “due process” crap. He’s not on trial!
To: Texas Fossil
This decision reflects top rate judgment on the part of President Trump.

I wish Trump would stop bowing to the courts. They had no jurisdiction over this anyway.

I was at the White House a few months ago. If I had misbehaved I am sure that I would have been removed immediately, and with prejudice. None of this “due process” crap.
I suppose the next whacko who goes over the fence is now entitled to due process?
To: reasonisfaith
“Top rate judgment” on the part of President Trump wold be to ignore the petulant Federal judge who thinks he has the authority to issue orders to the President of the United States.

Nothing in the order said he had to be admitted TO the press room...only that his pass had to be reinstated.

The judge was very clear and wise.
Here's your press pass....but the President NEVER has to call on you.
Psssst...Jim....You lost!!

They should have added no running in the halls and
no chewing gum.

Speaking of chewing gum, I've been in courtrooms where that act will get you booted immediately by the baliff.
No "due process" there.

So the White House has to codify “rules” that a particular reporter claimed to not understand, even though everyone in the room the behavior was rude beyond belief?
That is one of the problems.

You mean when Trump refused to give in?
When he sent the letter basically telling Acosta his stupid little press pass is as worthless as a copy of the communist manifesto?
