I would wear furs. Eff them.
Why not go the whole route and just demand school uniforms?
Paid for by the state, of course.
Oh, and state will provide free cleaning.
And food.
And transportation.
Sigh, that’s where we’re going.
Wouldn’t want anyone getting ambitious. Might interfere with the UN plan.
Next move: Make pretty girls wear masks.
Inequality exists. To deny that is evasion of reality and subjectivistic creation of one's own reality
The solution is to sell expensive coats that look poor. Throw them in the dryer with a few rocks for 15 minutes.
Socialism on Display!
These liberals want to CONTROL every aspect of our lives right down to the type of toilet we can buy, the type of lightbulb we can buy, what type of drinking straw we’re allowed to use, and now what kind of coat your child can wear.
I suggest that the entire faculty be required to dress in drab denim overalls, to show their solidarity with the Proles working class, and to avoid "micro-aggressing" or otherwise "shaming" anyone.
Anyone who refuses to do so should be subjected to a show-trial and/or be publicly humiliated and forced to recant their ideological errancy required to attend sensitivity training.
Repeated violations must be reported to the Ministry of Love.
Regards,
The left has totally screwed this planet over.
They have only banned a few specific brands. There are many other brands, and unbranded coats, that are even more expensive.
Schools used to at least pretend they wanted everyone to do their best.
Marxism is why we can’t have nice things.
Envy is a sin.
Maybe the poverty-stricken freeloaders NEED some shaming.
A little incentive to get off their dead a$$ and EARN enough money to buy such a coat.
Coats do not cause inequality. Differences in talent, ability, effort or resources cause inequality.
Being poor is nothing to be ashamed of. Staying poor is another matter.
How did I know the principal was a woman
That’s why everyone in socialist countries looks so poor oh, and the fact that the Greedy Government takes everyone’s money so they all ARE poor, equality in misery.
This is not new. My high school in a north Chicago suburb did this back in the 60s. Some girls were wearing very expensive stuff to school. I think its crazy. Normally you can just call it out. You don’t need a rule. And frankly, I have an equal problem with the moms that let their girls go to school with a thousand dollar jacket and the moms that allow their kids to envy a thousand dollar jacket. Why should we protect the materialistic want-a-bes from the materialistic have-nots.
Back then as now, most of the kids had faded jeans and tee shirts, not noticing what other kids wore.
How many successful peopl, who rose up from poverty have stated that their struggle with poverty as children are why they are successful? Because they knew they wanted better?
Not defending folks who humiliate or intentionally pick on those who are poor, but the idea no one can have nice things because others cant afforf it is nonsense
