Good morning. Very good question. Excuse my frank response, I had already formulated it before I read your question, so any harshness is purely rhetorical, sir.

The deep state wants us to hate the Saudis because their current leadership is trying to rehabilitate islam into a modern faith that doesn't rely on satanic hatred as a mechanism for proselytizing. This is contrary to the "feelz" of the deep state, which embraces the radicals as just another means of diminishing the light that is American freedom.

To give you perspective, yes, the brutal government of Saudi Arabia gave women the right to drive. As a result, an unholy hell of hate and anger rose up against them and they have been under constant assault and risk of life just breathing for that one small thing.

People counter me with 'Well, they're a bunch of assholes too and they did 'blah,blah,blah'..."

Well, they are OUR assholes and they are the ONLY ones who have lifted a finger to roll back and actually attempt a moderate reformation of islam. So imagine how you would feel about the blowback from that? You'd be an asshole, too. I sure would, and brutal retaliation is the only thing that keeps some of these subhuman scumbag terrorists in place from trying something so horrific it would traumatize all of humanity.

For the first time that I've heard about, both Israel and Saudi Arabia have been working together on several military fronts against terrorist entities. We may have issues with these people but given the challenges each of them face just existing are things we cannot imagine on a daily basis.

I say we cut them some slack.

The deep state? Take one good look at a photo of Brenner. He is exemplary of the faction that you speak of. He is a communist and probably a muslim. Look at the insane hatred in his eyes. Any questions?

The only unsavory people they want to support are those who aid their agenda of world chaos so the tyrants can take over...Under the new regime, Saudi can be very useful to us and the area....they hate that.

Obama sidled up with Iran for his fake nuclear disarmament vanity deal. Iran is Israel’s mortal enemy, which is a big plus for Democrats. Saudis produce a lot of oil, which is an anathema to the left’s religion.

MSM will grasp at anything THEY think will damage and undermine President Trump.

THEY think Trump will not or cannot meaningfully punish the Saudi’s, so by making this story well known they also make Trump look weak, so THEY think.

Well stated. It also ties in with the bizarre love and support for the fiction known as ‘Palestine,’ the primary function of which is blind, unrelenting hatred for Israel - something shared by leftists in Europe and the US but they usually avoid being so blunt. Conveniently, the ‘Palestinians’ are next door neighbors to Israel. Of course, many of them live and work among the Israelis but leftists don’t want to mention that.

Islamic totalitarianism is real.

It generates public fear and support for opposing it. This means high intel budgets and support for restricting public liberties, granting intel wide latitude for all kids of new powers. This intel world has grown hugely and that will continue as long as this war is fought BUT NOT WON.

Global, protracted low-intensity wars are the mother’s milk of the intel world.

By Saudi standards, MBS is a reformer who opposes Wahabbi Islam, the chief sponsor of Islam fundamentalist terror. He threatens to take SA on a more secular path emphasizing diversification of the SA economy.

My view of the prospect of long-term success of that path in SA is dim, but MBS threatens the cash-cow of the intelligence community.

Sixty years after Ike’s warnings, the US IC is now a furtive, unseen State in it’s own right, a type of secret occupation of the USA.

It is the natural desire of states to grow and a good, long-term Trump/MBS relationship threatens the source of US IC growth.

The nutshell:

Healthy Wahabbism is a healthy UC intelligence community.

This.

But wait there’s more.

The official undermining of SA started before President Trump took office. Obama flew pallets of cash to the Ayatollahs in Iran and gave them the green light for nukes after bowing to the King.

War has been fomented all across North Africa and the middle east for decades. GHWB put his toe in the water in Gulf War I. It accelerated with GWB in Gulf War II. Liberals like the Clintons and Obamas pushed on the cheap civil wars in Syria and Libya. We have deployed untold special ops, bases and fleets from the Gulf of Aden, to the Med, to the Atlantic and south to the Horn. Republicans and Democrats alike have followed the same script even after promising not to.

The migrant invasion of Europe, embarrassing President Trump and fueling the weapons industry are side shows for the main event. I suspect it is somehow tied to the long march to a one world government.

President Trump appears to be the first first dude in a while to change the play book. I hope that events (like a 911) don’t change his mind or political events make him succumb to a “wag the dog” calculation.

Look at the rivals to the countries of Saudi Arabia and China. The Iranians are the direct opponents to Saudi Arabia, even now fighting a clandestine war on several fronts. And Saudi Arabia is, as much as anybody in the region, a de facto ally of Israel, and you begin to see what is going on there. Help Iran and its fundamentalist theocratic government, and keep the pot stirred in the Middle East.

China is a little less obvious, but part of the pressure is economics. The “little tigers”, i.e., South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Malaysia, are all under strong pressure from an expansionist China, also felt by Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, and the largest economic competitor, Japan.

This economic pressure is also exerted through the military and naval presence in the South China Sea, a hegemony that threatens a major portion of the world trade routes. China want very much to have a “blue water” navy, more directly to challenge the superiority of the US naval presence all around the world.

But the big target for the Chinese is India, a sometimes ally of the US, and probably one of its nearest economic rivals in the East Asia sphere, ranking right up there with Japan. Like the world of the Immortals, “there can be only one”.

You make a lot of great points. That one is key. The Deep State doesn’t want tensions in the Middle East reduced. War and conflict are money makers for the Deep State. Look at the cozy relationship between Mueller and Comey when Comey worked for Lockheed Martin.

Now they want to stir up an embargo. Must be to tank our economy. Hurt Trump.

Anyone who knows how could look in to if George Soros has invested in oil companies or oil futures.

With an oil glut in progress stock prices are down and oil is a record low prices.

Engineer a political falling out with SA or even better a war in the Persian Gulf and Soros could make a serious butt ton of money.

One word : Trump.

The neocons, the Deep State, the Globalists, want to destabilize the US. Nothing like another lousy war and thus the removal of Trump.

Trying to hurt Trump is exactly what it’s about.

Exactly. Look at the timing of the firestorm of coverage over what was another brutal death of hundreds of thousands in a brutal world.

Wall to wall coverage... before the election.

After the election...crickets.

If you read it or see it from the MSM, it has been specifically designed to hurt the President.

My guess is the elite don’t like the new crown prince. He has made a lot of changes that probably weakened their influence. Just a guess.

That's a good guess. I don't know much about ME power politics but I assume a hack journalist is a small price to pay for revenge for being locked up in the Ritz Carlton or whatever. It may end up being a minor internal power struggle, or something more, I don't know.
