I saw several articles today regarding the Mexicans being unhappy about the caravan stopping in their town and throwing rocks etc. and the Mexican authorities taking the “refugees” to a shelter and away from the residents.

That is interesting about the Mexicans being unhappy about the foreigners. Maybe our reasonable right minded brothers and sisters south of the border view this as an invasion of their nation also! As well they should.
Tijuana depends on El Norte gringoes for $$. They know these “Migroes” are just going to dilute the population and turn their backs on TJ when they get in to the US.
Tourism will take a huge hit in TJ if 5000 Migroes get asylum.
