Durrell Jackson has been protesting racial inequality at Notre Dame football games for two years.
The junior started right after Colin Kaepernick began his protest of police brutality in 2016. He remembers the reactions of other fans when he first sat during the national anthem. “I got this look from the people standing up next to me, like ‘What are you doing?!’ ” Jackson said by phone Monday. “I gave them a look, ‘Yeah, I’m doing it.’ ”
This past Saturday, at the last Notre Dame home game of the season, Jackson had plenty of company.

I chalk it up to my ban on the NFL for the last 2 years. My ban on NFL football seems to have diminished my love of the game even though my home team (UGA) is having a good season.
As an aside, a few years ago, I couldn't wait for the weekend during season.
I don’t watch college or NFL football, and haven’t for three years. Don’t miss it a bit.
Likely most of these virtue signalers are students at ND themselves. Notice they’re not protesting the good fortune they have at getting attend such a prestigious private university.
The problem is that these "virtue signaling" college students become our future business, education, and political leaders. The 20th century is dead.

OK, here’s what to do about “racial inequality.” All the guilty students each pick a Non-White student. Ask each how much money he/she has. The one with more money gives of his own money to the other to make up the difference.
Not just one time. Once a week. Ending when one student leaves the college.
What happens soon: the “poor” student pi$$es away the money you give him and comes to you next week asking for more. The “poor” student realizes he doesn’t have to work for his money. You keep working because of your commitment. Soon you get disgusted and the “poor” one comes to hate you.
No one ever dares say that the “poor” student is no longer poor, and that the “rich” student is no longer rich. The labels remain.
Exactly the democrats’ plan for this country.
Notre Dame has been a cursed institution ever since it invited the vile pro abortionist Obama to give its commencement address and conferred on him an honorary degree. It will need more than an exorcism after the likes of Jenkins and Pope Francis leave this planet.
