Election Official to be 'Forced From Office' for Violating Florida Law
NN ^ | 11/13/18 | Jay Greenberg

Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes is expected to be "forced from office" after a judge found her guilty of violating Florida law. Following further reports of highly suspicious actions by her office, either Governor Rick Scott or governor-elect Ron DeSantis is anticipated to soon strip her from her role. Snipes is accused of intentionally destroying ballots along with allowing felons and non-citizens to vote in elections.

Someone with appropriate standing should shoe this corrupt moron for violation of their civil rights under color of law. That way she can be sued personally. Ditto for everyone with authority in her office. Ditto for the bimbo who is her Palm Beach County equivalent.

Unless people who commit voter fraud are prosecuted, it will continue. If a behavior is rewarded, it grows in frequency and intensity. If it is punished, it will slow down in both frequency and intensity.

Ms. Snipes (I do not add the honorific “Doctor”, as that is probably bogus too) would simply organize a voter registration drive in the General Population part of the prison where she would be. Then, with the recently passed Felon Voting Right restoration initiative enacted, that would assure an overwhelming voting bloc in some localities.

But removal from office should be the least of her sanctions. She clearly deserves so much more.

Scott comes across as not sure of himself. Almost immature in his thought process.

This mess in Broward would have never happened had Scott taken care of business long before the election.

If this woman is not prosecuted to the full extent of the law, then every jail cell in America should be opened and every convicted criminal set free.

Whether Scott or DeSantis decides Brenda Snipes' fate, they will want to have a comprehensive investigation and adequate, documented findings by the state Division of Elections before signing an order removing Snipes. Under Florida law, her removal can be contested before the Florida Senate, a venue where the issue could easily become both partisan and racially charged.

Mindful that Snipes was elected by the voters of Broward County, Florida Senate precedent and inclination will be to the effect that even gross incompetence and errors in an election are inadequate grounds for removal but should be remedied by the voters. Thus proof of substantive intentional misconduct without any excuse will likely be needed before Snipes is removed.

Alternatively, Snipes might be induced to resign from office by the threat of removal or criminal charges. Even fully merited criminal charges though will be hard to bring and prove at trial before a local jury certain to include Black jurors skeptical toward any hint of mistreatment based on race.

She should be forced into General Population at the nearest prison.

She would probably thanked profusely for allowing the felons to vote.

Yes Rick Scott will remove her very soon.

Governor Scott will suspend Snipes.

FL senate will investigate Snipes.

FL senate will remove Snipes.

Gov. Scott will appoint an interim. Gov. DeSantis will appoint the SOE.

Because she was duly elected, the people of Broward County are collectively responsible for her malfeasance, thus, when the state nullifies all of their votes, =it is their own fault.

We can keep bitching about the current reality or we can get off our lazy butts and open our wallets for the next election cycle - along with supporting those now fighting the Dem machine in Fla and GA....

That is more or less the reasoning in having locally elected supervisors of election and other executive officers. Nullifying large blocs of votes though would be a last resort because the local public would tend to go on the warpath, even against the judges.

Snipes will be frog marched out of her building for sure, just like her angry and corrupt black woman predecessor, Miriam Oliphant.

But knowing how f***ed up Broward County is, they will elect another (probably black woman) Rat crook to take Brenda’s place.

Broward county is like Watts and Maxine Watters-—horrifying ghettos, electing ghetto trash crooks to office over and over again.
