Axl Rose rips President Trump’s take on California wildfires
New York Daily News ^ | 11/11/18 | BRIAN NIEMIETZ

Rose, whose band played Sunday in the Philippines, fired back at Trump on Twitter.

“Um...actually...it’s a lack of federal funding that’s at the ‘root’ of the purported forest mismanagement. Only a demented n’ truly pathetic individual would twist that around n’ use a tragedy to once again misrepresent facts for attempted public/political gain at other’s expense,” the 56-year-old singer wrote.

This isn’t the first time Rose has taken issue with Trump. Days before last week’s midterm elections, Rose tweeted that he’d formally asked the President to refrain from using Guns N' Roses songs at political rallies.

“Just so ya know… GNR like a lot of artists opposed to the unauthorized use of their music at political events has formally requested r music not b used at Trump rallies or Trump associated events.”

It seems the request was not respected.

“Unfortunately the Trump campaign is using loopholes in the various venues’ blanket performance licenses which were not intended for such craven political purposes, without the songwriters’ consent,” Rose wrote in a followup tweet. ‘Can u say “sh—bags?!”’

Fellow metalheads Tommy Lee from Motley Crue and Sebastian Rock of the band Skid Row also shouted out their protests to No. 45’s reaction to the fires, which have killed 25 people, forced 300,000 Californians from their homes and singed 83,000 acres of land.

“Can you be any more insensitive you ----ing moron?” Lee tweeted.

Bach called the President the “most USELESS human being to ever walk the Planet Earth” on Twitter.

If he’s two years younger than I am, why does he look 15 years older, at a minimum. I’m no Jack Lalane.

6,500 homes? Wow, I had no idea. Thanks for that very detailed report. Too bad the eco fecal freak officials that caused this disaster won’t be held accountable.

Overweight former rocker attempts to revive career by using the word “purported” in a tweet.

Who is Axl Rose? I’m not really sure. I think he is
the front man for a musical group which takes rock n roll
and turns it into screech n squeal. It doesn’t matter
because he has an audience whether I like it or not.
The part that intrigues me is that the guy must fancy
himself as an environmentalist. I would bet a C note that
this assclown does not bother to remind his outside
venue concert fans to pickup after themselves when the
music is done. Sure, people are hired for cleanup. But
reminding fans not to be pigs is an idea that would not
penetrate his dozen and a half brain cells.

I always wait to see what Axl Rose thinks about an issue before deciding.

Do these idiots not know that the absence of proper forestry management is due to regulations imposed by the State of California?

If California invested the Federal money they get in infrastructure and emergency response instead of illegal aliens, they might have the resources to more effectively fight or even prevent these fires.

Mind-numbing noise marketed as ‘music’.
Mind-numbing ignorance proffered as ‘advice’.

Let’s be sure and consult this nitwit in future on forestry management, and rocket surgery too while while we’re at it.

Perhaps the long hair makes him look older? Hard to say. Perhaps you always had a baby face like I have and people think you are younger than you are. My daughter-in-law swears she always thought I was younger than my 66 years. Personally I think she is just being kind. 8>) Not that it matters because it’s how you feel, and I feel much older than 66. LOL.

Really? Axl Rose, really? How’s Chinese Democracy coming along, Axl? It’s only been 15 years since you announced you would be releasing the “masterpiece”. Shut up and sing.

If memory serves me well, Axl Rose was born and raised in Lafayette, IN. I know someone who remembers him (I have seen the year book) at Lafayette Jefferson High School as member of the cross country team who locked Rose in a locker a time or two. May be wrong on this one but I think there is another guy from the band who is also from Lafayette. As lore goes, they moved to the left coast as a garage band seeking fame and fortune. They found Slash (British guy I think) after he declined joining another big hair band because Slash did not like having to talk to fans or some sort of thing like that. The new Guns & Roses band told Slash all he had to do was play and he was happy with that.

So, Rose may be able to talk about corn and soy beans perhaps from personal experience but I think he is woefully unqualified to lecture anyone about forestry or its management.

Regards.

Nature possesses her own intelligence regarding cleaning up and keeping things in order. She doesn’t care that we’ve built houses, towns, cities in her way and then failed to manage properly

Well, we’re not Napa or Malibu; seems our only use is to inflate the numbers for ‘California’s wildfires.’ I’m sure CNN will eventually get around to visiting the area for some quickly forgotten ‘The Tragedy In Paradise’ special to fill the least rated spot.

50,000+ people will likely remain evacuated until after Thanksgiving. Many families will start running out of hotel money soon, but hey, FEMA’s finally arriving now that Governor Jerry ‘Moonbeam’ Brown has returned to the state and finally signed the appropriate disaster documents.

I doubt he would have cut his trip short if Malibu hadn’t burned.

And of course, never miss an opportunity to push the Democrat agenda, spending much of the CalOES (Office of Emergency Services) news conference to call it the new normal due to global warming.

The same Axl Rose who for his ass kicked by Tommy Hilfiger (fashion designer) in a bar. Overrated trash.
