This is interesting. The Chinese language testifies the veracity of the Bible.

That would have been much later then what this person is claiming, and it depends on the real age of the Chinese characters he references as well

History of Silk Road begins from the second century BC to the end of the fourteenth century AD, as a great trade route originating from Chang'an (now Xian) in the east and ending at the Mediterranean in the west, linking China with the Roman Empire.

So again I contend that if this is accurate it does confirm the major events talked about in the Bible, which in turn lends more credence to its legitimacy.

Very interesting thoughts you have expressed.

Here is something to mull over in your sleep.

How are the Tower of Babel and the United Nations alike ?

I think you’ll find that Joctan may have fathered the Arabs and Chinese.

One of the things I would love to do, once we are all in eternity, is watch the history of man as he spreads across the earth.

It is an attempt to deny how God intended man to be. We are meant to be differing nations, tribes, and tongues and free to self-determine within that.

However, those pushing the UN to rule are trying to eliminate that and make us all one tribe.

Use an English to Chinese translation service to verify.

You don’t think there was trade before the Silk Road?

Was there an agreement with or an argument against my post in that link? I didn’t see it if so.

The Biblical story of the flood can be traced back to Sumer. It’s an ancient story of a global catastrophe. Immanuel Velikovsky wrote about it in Worlds in Collision.

We can agree to disagree. After all, we are both just stating our opinions. My opinion is that if all is accurate with what he states in the video, which I believe it most likely is the case, even though I do express some doubts. Then it proves the Bible is for real. If you want to believe otherwise, I'm certainly not stopping you from your beliefs, nor am I trying to change your beliefs.

Read my words closely, not what you want to read into them.

But honestly, even if it traveled by word of mouth it still proves that the Bible is relating actual events that occurred at different times in history.

I doubted the Bible for much of my life, but my doubts have been erased over the years.

Not surprising knowing all the peoples of the earth are descendents of Noah. My theory is that God confounded more than language at the tower of Babel.

Language is often associated with culture as well. It makes sense that God changed skin pigment and hair characteristics along with speech in order to dispel His people around the world to populate the plant, “be fruitful and multiply this world you are to subdue.”

Perhaps this separation led people groups to disperse and then the continents separated. This would explain ancient culture’s common flood stories and would also explain commonalities among the various religious teachings of ancient civilizations.

Food for thought as God brings glory to His name!

Christians of various persuasions had entered China, probably by the 2nd c AD. Any Bibiical influences earlier than that may have arrived due to Hebrew/Israelite/Jewish travels and commerce. That said, there are number of vids about this on YouTube, and I don't expect much.

When I get to Heaven, I want to know EVERYTHING! But then I wonder, will I care about what went before? If I were told everything, how could that not include the evil in history, and unsaved relatives and friends, as well? I know the martyrs in Heaven are aware of the continued martyrdom taking place. They spend their time worshipping God and asking, “How long, Lord?” That seems to indicate distress. Just another something I want to know.
It will take a long time just to drink in the understanding of the infinity of God and His character.

"They had traveling merchants back then too. No reason word did not spread. It doesn’t prove anything."

It proves merchants traveled back then.

The historical Japanese symbol for ‘biggest boat’ only has eight people in the boat. There were eight people on Noah’s ark.
