Californians can thank themselves for the tragedy. They voted for politicians and policies for cleaner air, and this fire was the direct result:
https://lao.ca.gov/Publications/Report/3798 Check the statements about the VMP program which was crippled by CARB. The CARB regulations are written in such a way that if you perform burns on safe days, that is banned due to low mixing and the possibilitiy of pollution. OTOH if you burn on a high mixing day that is ok and of course it is also dangerous. So agencies and landowners do nothing to avoid liabilitiy from CARB and related lawsuits.
The fault for this tragedy belongs to CARB and the manhy idiots who support CARB.

We have, friends who have a grand daughter who is fighting this fire with other fire fighters.
Last year, she was on the front lines fighting the fires in the wine counties.
She told her grandparents, this fire was more powerful, more dangerous and totally out of control.
Our firefighters need our prayers, and the people who lost homes and maybe loved ones, Thursday.

I enjoy watching natural disaster videos. Tornadoes, well, you cant make more of those. However, California uses a fake moral reason for greatly increasing fires in its state, so Im really happy they collectively agree to encourage fires. That doesnt happen in other states or countries.
Go California! Make American fire videos better!

That would be to Trumps credit!
I’d send Trump an extra contribution if it happens!

I woke up this morning to the smell of smoke in my house.
And I’m 100 miles away in Sacramento.
It’s just awful.
