A friend of mine is an Auburn alum. Visiting her we see cars and trucks—lots of trucks festooned with big A’s or AU’s. I kid her about getting confused as to which team is which—it’s fun to watch the reaction. Anyway, someone poisoned a tree that Auburn students revered. He finally got caught. Rabid ‘Bama fan.
