An Alabama fan was fatally beaten in a bar fight at Ponchatoula Pub while celebrating the Crimson Tide's win over LSU. A physical altercation involving 46-year-old Robert Bowers and two individuals, later identified as Azia Crockett and Ryan Anthony, took place inside the pub just after midnight on the morning on Nov. 4.

They beat the man, who dies in hospital as a result and the assailants are charged with manslaughter? Why not murder one?

Brittany Spears’ old stomping grounds, I believe, or close to it. It has been about twenty years since I was there, but if I were an Alabama fan in that town, I would have kept it to myself at that particular time.

What do you want to beat that neither of the three ever went to Alabama or LSU?
Or High School.
A friend of mine is an Auburn alum. Visiting her we see cars and trucks—lots of trucks festooned with big A’s or AU’s. I kid her about getting confused as to which team is which—it’s fun to watch the reaction. Anyway, someone poisoned a tree that Auburn students revered. He finally got caught. Rabid ‘Bama fan. I don’t think he graduated high school either. They take these things seriously down there.

The guy who poisoned the oaks at Toomer’s Corner was Harvey Updyke Jr, a retired Texas State Trooper....he never went to Alabama.
He called a sports radio show and bragged about it.
