That’s what I experienced early voting in Las Vegas on Friday. Had to wait a half hour in a long line out the door of the grocery store just to get to the check in table.
My area is a more conservative, two parents and kids area of the city.
I’m in the Poconos, in Eastern Pennsylvania.
It’s pouring rain here (after raining all day yesterday) and I’ve NEVER seen floods like this. The ditches are overflowing and the roads are flooding out.
And the Firehouse (where we vote) was actually crowded. The woman working the table said it was a greater turnout than election day 2016.
I don’t know what that means, but it sure is unusual.
Anyway... I did my duty and crawled back home, whimpering and hoping for some kind of arc to come and save us from all this frigging water.
