I’m in the Poconos, in Eastern Pennsylvania.
It’s pouring rain here (after raining all day yesterday) and I’ve NEVER seen floods like this. The ditches are overflowing and the roads are flooding out.
And the Firehouse (where we vote) was actually crowded. The woman working the table said it was a greater turnout than election day 2016.
I don’t know what that means, but it sure is unusual.
Anyway... I did my duty and crawled back home, whimpering and hoping for some kind of arc to come and save us from all this frigging water.
Ummm, we could use some of that water. Hasn’t rained here but once in the last 100 days or so...not that that’s unusual.
Let’s hope and pray that in both of our locales the good news runs like flood waters!
That’s PA though, over the past few years. The rain is driving me nuts.
I’m in NEPA / Poconos too. We should try to have some sort of meet-up to come up with ideas to fight off this influx of NY/NJ a-holes that are coming here in droves and bringing their votes with them.
Worked in the Poconos for a time....now here in western Pa we’ve had more than our share of rain out here as well. Has been almost constant wet days over the past couple months...few sunny days.....London type weather....Actually We get more rain here than the state of Washington!
