As one of the world's richest men and most active philanthropists, Bill Gates usually has his hands full. Just not with poop.

What’s really impressive is that stat on India.
A major success from Modi.
So when the Chinese take a dump, from now on every time they sit on the pot Cortana asks, “How can I help you?” and then sends a picture of their posterior to the NSA?
“Poop in hand, Bill Gates backs China’s toilet revolution”
A turd in the hand is better than poo in the bushes.
Whole new meaning for “Chinese takeout”.
Latrines have been around and used for centuries. Don’t they know how to make and use them?
Guess not:

While Bill Gates is a liberal, his pet causes and projects are usually less malignant than those of Mark Zuckerberg, the late Steve Jobs, Warren Buffett, and most other billionaire philanthropists.
I wonder what kind of toilets they are working to install. The sit-down kind, or the ones where one has to squat and risk getting stuff all over their feet?
I wonder how his “nonsewerd solutions” work. Also, well run municipal sewers and sewage processing plants can be significant economic assets by turning human waste into valuable fuel and fertilizer. The fuel is in the form of large quantities of methane that is far cleaner and easier to use than coal. Processed sludge can be a valuable and safe form of fertilizer, as in Milorganite, a sludge based fertilizer sold by Milwaukee.
They’ve been putting composting toilets in RV’s for a few years. I’ve heard they work pretty well, but they could have been just sh8tting me.
They just assign everyone a rotating spot in the fields and cut out the middleman.
He and his foundation have been pooping up our education system and injecting abortion filth into other countries for many years. Finally, he is doing something useful with his money.
Hu Flung Poo
A few years back I did a little research for a cousin on composting toilets who was interested in them. Turns out they are really disgusting things that require constant maintenance. Since I’ve owned a cruising sailboat and still own a power cruiser, I’ve become familiar with holding tanks and toilet chemical. As far as I’m concerned, they’re the way to go, as long as there are available pump out facilities. Indeed, an excellent piece of legislation is to require all overnight marinas and RV campgrounds to have adequate pump out facilities.
“Theyve been putting composting toilets in RVs for a few years”
What’s the point? You have to dump the tanks anyway. All campgrounds have dump stations.
You’ve got me. Maybe they boon dock and it makes them feel better about just dumping gray water on the ground?
Guess they’ve never watched a cat dig a hole and cover it up when done.
I’ve seen pics of India and it’s the worst. People bathing in the river while in the same pic, someone taking a dump in the river.
Meanwhile, there’s San Francisco.
We have a small RV. A Rialta. We never poop in it. Mr. Mercat always uses a dump station.
Good analogy; I’ve had cats all my life, so I know that visual.
“People bathing in the river while in the same pic, someone taking a dump in the river.”
Or a human corpse or animal floating downstream.
