Tks..Road Runner...Thankfully we have the Senate and added some. We really needed to Senate for judges...hopefully judges will be used a lot in the coming weeks/months.

The NYT has the R loss of 24 at this point. Still some races to be decided. Not sure if there are enough to swing it back the other way, but it sure would be a great morning if we woke to different scenario than we are facing at the moment.

In case media doesn’t emphasize this: President Trump did much better in his first mid-year than most Presidents. House losses less and bigger Senate gains. He certainly did a lot better than Presidents Obama and Clinton. See if you see that in mainstream media.

I also don’t know what it will take to educate Americans.

I don't know either, but apparently the divide between Rs & Ds is wide. Very little middle ground, because if both cannot even agree on a great, booming economy (even for selfish reasons) then there is not a lot of hope.

Most open races at this hour are deep in democrat country.

If only House republicans had not reneged on their campaign promises to kill Obamacare.....

Well - At least this should be the last time that we get screwed by John McCain.

I don’t know if they all ran on impeachment. I know they were running around lying about healthcare and preexisting conditions, republicans wanting to take away social security, Medicare for all, the tax cuts only went to the rich, etc.
If they want to spend their time on impeachment and investigations, I don’t think they will be helping themselves.
Maxine Waters want to revenge Wall Street, Adam Schiff wants to investigate everything, so those two worry me.

I don’t know if they all ran on impeachment

They touted impeachment early in the campaign until they were told to keep it hush-hush, but it was always implied that once they got their hands on the gavel they would use it to impeach Trump.

President Trump just about single handedly killed the Blue Wave.

But it was too much to ask to completely stop all democrat wins.

Results would no doubt be even better if all congressional republicans had come together behind their president in January 2017.

Instead many spent the best part of two years pouting and taking cheap shots at him.

And now, many of those GOP squishes will be gone.

So that is one good outcome.

Have you ever voted for a R senator & a D congressman (or visa versa)? It seems strange that Trump energized so many voters to come out and vote & maybe even vote R for the first time for a Senator, but yet they voted D for the House.

You DO get it, CB!
Take another look at what you wrote:

“I guess I still don’t get it but that’s because it’s a brain thing. Your brain is telling you your knee hurts. But then your knee is also swollen and puffy and red. So there’s definitely something wrong, right?
No, there isn’t, but:

“Or is it the brain making it swollen puffy and red? But there’s no underlying thing to treat in the knee itself? I guess it doesn’t matter because you are in excruciating pain as if there was an injury.”
BINGO!

It will react as if there IS an injury.
It’s horrid.
One morning I woke up fast because it felt like someone was crushing my toes with something heavy.
I flung off the covers and turned on the light, and there were my toes, just as normal as ever.
That’s when we knew it was not only my left knee, but now the whole leg and foot, and the right foot too.

Had to buy a foot cradle to keep the blankets off them.
That went on for quite awhile, but has now abated as far as the toes are concerned.

It’s tough to work 30 hours a week with this nightmare!
That and the housework.
Hubby is AWESOME and helps me quite a bit.
He does most of the cooking now.
Thank you so much for chatting with me about it!
Maybe we should take it to Freepmail so as not to bore our TTF!
I’m off to bed, CB!
I hope you have a good and pain free night!
God Bless!
