PITTSBURGH - Two employees were stabbed while in the process of firing another employee at a restaurant in Pittsburghs Mount Washington neighborhood, police said.
The stabbing at Bigham Tavern on Bigham Street was reported about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigators said the victims were firing 40-year-old Jaymar Gilbert, of Garfield, when a physical altercation began.
Gilbert pulled out a knife and stabbed the two employees, police said

They now regret saying to Jaymar “We are going to have to cut you”.
He pretty much proved they were doing the right thing. They just forgot to have armed guards escort him from the building.
I’d guess that the individual is highly likely to remain fired.
Should have dropped him with lead on the spot, and called his family to retrieve the body. Yeah it’s cold, but appropriate.
Gee, I wonder if Mr. Gilbert had a record...
And if so, why the heck the bar hired him.

I used to deliver cans to a soft drink bottler in Richmond, Va.
Once I drove in and saw three cars from the Sheriff’s department parked at the office entrance.
I asked the gate guard what the excitement was about. He said they were firing someone and had the deputies there to make sure the guy left without problems.
Every time they fired someone they had the deputies there.
Rough place. Southside of Richmond in the 80’s.
So...the guy received a severance package?
A company in our building fired a guy a couple of months ago. Apparently he made some threats. We pretty much all went on lockdown. Had armed security in the halls and undercover cops in the parking lot for around three weeks.
