Man, this sucks. After 15 years, there will be no Ghost to Ghost tonight for me..or Art Bell's Spooky Matters after he passed away this year. The last few years I would just download the entire 3 hours on Youtube (someone always uploads the show the next day) and listen to it in parts. I dont want to listen to the new annoying hosts and stopped after George "vote for obama" Noory took over.
Art Bell was the one I listened to because he wasn't a condescending prick like Noory. ALL of the Art Bell shows are on Youtube from 1992 ? to 2008..if you could find it, but they are mostly there.
The local AM station that hosts Coast-to-Coast AM announced that they would have “Ghost-to-Ghost” tonight.
Art died this year don’t know if they are doing it
Their webpage says Ghost to Ghost is scheduled for tonight.

Are you saying Coast to Coast has ceased all production, or since Art Bell’s demise, you’ve lost interest in listening to the show on Devil’s Night?
I too wish that Noory would retire or give some other host a chance. I’m glad the show has been on in any form, though I no longer make a point of listening to it. On weekends, George has gotten into the habit of featuring ‘Emerging Artists’ in the 60 seconds before commercial break.
Most those Emerging Artists are very amateurish or just plain not interesting. Yet George dumps them on his audience to make himself feel better. He’s sharing the wealth.
There is a second fill in Coast to Coast weekend host.
His specialty is unknown B-Sides of music from the 1960’s.
I am quickly reminded of why these B-Side musicians never really made it big. Dreadful music! I usually turn the dial.
I agree. Art’s demeanor was more personable.
Yup. The Youtube vid dated 1999 for that show, my uncle was on hold but he spoke with Art himself, and he apologized that he waited. Throughout the years, this night’s show just got more popular. See post 6
Not really. I tried Noory on more than a few occasions, only if the caller has a really wicked story. I just have my preference with Art as I;ve been listening to the show since high school in the late 90’s.
After Art’s, I always thought Whitley Strieber (sic?) had a great voice for the show.
But what I’d rather listen to would be an overnight show that talked about obscure historical personages, events, culture, art.. whatever. But no ghosts and goblins, paranormal, or the like. Three hours on Benjamin Franklin or Nicholai Tesla or whomever or whatever with historians and biographers would be more entertaining to me because facts are often stranger than fiction.

I did catch Whitley on occasion. He’s alright.
Yeah. Like I said, his voice was the best thing about his tenure.
