Yeah...no car, no woman. But who would want her anyway if she is that shallow? Conversely, who here is shallow enough to try to entice a pretty girl with a car?

I remember reading about those guys with the massively boosted turbo Buicks or whatever having the bodies rip from the torque distorting the frame. Yikes.
Getting the power to the rear wheels without a slipping clutch would be a real issue. The adequate clutch would likely not be much fun in stop and go traffic.

and reinforce the rusty chassis. The 950 Ft-Lb of torque is going to destroy anything after the flywheel; like the clutch, transmission, u-joints,drive shaft, rear end and tires.
In the early 1970s a true dyno pull of 1 hp per cubic inch was a very 'hot' engine. Anything north of 1.5 hp per cubic inch was a race motor. So a street-able motor with 2.35 hp per cubic inch running on pump gasoline is very impressive.

Oh, baby.
A friend has a 65 classic Mustang, which he just dropped a 500 horse 427 Chevy engine and tranny into!

I never thought I would say this but this is getting ridiculous.
When I was in high school I wanted a fuel injected corvette or an XKE.
Neither of those would even be close to that monster. BTW, I still think the XKE convertible was the most beautiful car ever.
I saw a very simple but beautiful car in the movie “The Birds” either yesterday or the day before. It was an Aston Martin sports car. Tippi Hedren was driving it which didn’t hurt. Still beauty doesn’t need to be outrageous.

Did a photo shoot based upon the origin mad max road warrior movie with a beautiful model.
Created the costume myself and only wished I could have found a suitable car for the shoot that matched the original “last of the V8 interceptors.”
Photos not suitable for freerepublic.
Anyone who wants to see some of them need only freep mail me and and them swear themselves to secrecy.

I built a 327 that was barely streetable, then added a single stage nitrous. My 68 Camaro convertible did some scary twisting. A friend started throwing money on the table until I agreed to put it in his ‘79 CJ. It fit with just some “minor” fabrication. I don’t know how well the chassis/drive train would have held up since he totaled it about 2 weeks later.
Luckily I was in the passenger seat so I was a buffer between him and the bridge column.
Oh to be young and crazy again. I lost the young part years ago.
