Mr Rogers was bullied a lot as a youth because he was considerably overweight. Those who worked around him attested to his very high integrity. I realize that your taste may be averse to Mr Rogers. However, such a negative comment about such a high quality person may appear to be more of a comment about you than about him.

Well put. Though his mother likely pimped him out and was/is hostile to Trump.
Spices are different my friend. I can eat jalapenos and green chilis and any spice in Mexican food all day. But there is something in Chicken Shawarma that really gets my goat, no pun intended. I tried some Chicken Biryani which was so flavorful but had a similar effect on my system. Maybe it is what you are used to eating.

I just got back from voting. Long line, all but one person probably over 50, most over 60 is my guess. All pleasant and friendly. No birkenstocks :)
The only good thing I can say about the politicians I voted for are that they had an R after their name for the most part. Some offices non partisan like the sheriff and the good thing about my candidate is that he is not the current sheriff.
I would kick their ass, go vote, come out and kick their ass again. Maybe steal their i.d. and go vote again.

Kitchen tips for chili:
Turn up the “heat” in a jalapeno by slow roasting it on the grill.
Mellow out the heat in a serrano by letting counter-ripen to a deep red.
After you have the green piquine and the hatch chili, test yourself by nibbling on a scotch-bonnet/habenero. If you can taste the pepper flavor in the habenero, move on to ghosties.
Personally, I can’t taste any flavor in a habenero so I’ll never try a ghost.
