Students enrolled at Megyn Kelly’s old high school penned an opinion piece for NBC News, calling her out Sunday for the comments she made about blackface being “OK” back when she was a kid.
“Those comments definitely do not speak to who we are in Bethlehem or at Bethlehem Central High School, from which she graduated in 1988,” wrote members of the upstate school’s Students for Peace and Survival group......

~1961. Our kindergarten class performed the timeless classic: “Little Black Sambo”....in blackface. Oddly, it wasn’t a big deal. No one was triggered or needed a safe space or emotional support animal, although one girl cried a bit when they were applying the burnt cork. She was afraid her parents wouldn’t recognize her.
I played the lead role.
As Sambo had to undress in order to appease the hungry tigers, offering each tiger an article of clothing in exchange for his life. I had to wear a black leotard, with “tighty whitie” shorts under my “clothes” IIRC, the most embarrassing part to me was the leotard. Not so much because it was black, but that was something girls wore. I guess that makes me not only steeped in racism from a tender age, but a cis-gendered homophobe as well. I was not just in blackface, but entire blackself!
I believe the show ended with pancakes.

That’s what I think. Her sorrow over the backlash might have been because more important than the NBC drama she doesn’t want people to believe she’s prejudiced against blacks.
You need to use the apostrophe for possessive in all cases except when applying it to the word “it”. Otherwise you start making plurals, and no one wants more than one Me-again Kelly.
Off topic but I watched a rerun of the 1970s game show Match Game recently. A female contestant was well-established physically but dressed stylishly. She made a joke about her attributes in a cute way. The panelists smiled. Fun was had. It is something that could have been met with derision today and suspensions and firings if the host had acted similarly to Gene Rayburn. We have lost our sense of humor and has been mentioned often on FR and elsewhere: liberals are buzzkill.
What a false scandal.

SJW are ruining Halloween. It used to be a fun holiday where you could dress up as someone or something totally opposite yourself. For a white person, black make up or green witch makeup is a good way to disguise yourself.

Remarkable how Kelly’s remarks that “dressing up in blackface for Halloween is not so bad” has morphed into “Megyn Kelly Endorses the Return of Minstrel Shows”.
I’m older than Kelly but it was okay when I was in highschool. It was just a style, back in vaudeville days, even black people wore black face. This is so unbelievably stupid!
