This place has had n00bs since the very beginning. Even us old-timers went thru it. We all get to join up with those who already know the ropes, and where suspicious of our sign up days.
I am a freshman, class of 99 but lurked a good year prior ,I remember the whitewater board layout so maybe even earlier. Finally felt I had something to ad on Feb 12 1999! Yup, that sad day when BJClinton was acquitted.
While I do not post as much as did back then, this is still the best place to come for breaking news by far.

As for the divorce, I feel for you, man!
My wife of 17 years hooked up with her old college boyfriend on Facebook and went totally gaga over him, throwing her job and two beautiful daughters (ages 12 and 14) out the window.
Since this wasn’t my first rodeo, I immediately went to LegalZoom.com and ordered a divorce package for my state. Cost about $500.
While she was still head over heals over this guy, I presented her with the divorce agreement, in which I had specified total custody of the girls, the house, the banking accounts, and everything else. All she got was a paid-off car, which she soon totaled.
She and I met at a UPS Store and signed the agreement in front of a notary public. I then submitted it to the courthouse and had to wait 30 days. Then I had to sit through a lecture from an elderly dude judge about how difficult it is for a single father, but he certified it, and the divorce was final.
Looking back, I should added child support too!
