I hope its someone with a generous heart who will use some of the money to help people hit by the hurricane rebuild their lives.
Hope a conservative won it!!!
What are the odds in S.C.? Better than 50/50 percent right?
I hope it’s a crimmigrant and the name is published before the election. The sheep are asleep when it comes to illegals taking their jobs, but nothing will wake them like an illegal claiming “their” lottery winnings.
The winner could release a statement “ I will make a YUUUUGE donation to Trump’s re-election and also to conservative GOPs.”
Then watch heads explode lol
I wonder how many total tickets have been sold up till the closing time last night? Any ideas?
Probably one of those retired liberal yankees along the coast.
Someone likely just went to average Joe to Forbes richest list overnight.
The winner is a 95-year-old lady who hordes cats.
Lucky it was in a state where you are allowed to remaim anonymous — should be that way in every state. Why 42 force you to reveal your identity baffles me.
I’m glad I didn’t win. Yes. No, its true. I would have been so unhappy. Harassed by family, friends and strangers. Kidnapping attempts. Investment scams.
Yeah, I dodged a bullet on that one.
I’m glad I didn’t win. Yes. No, its true..
I think if you sign the ticket in your own name, then you’re forced to reveal identity. If you create a trust for foundation or summer other vehicle to put the winnings into, you can remain anonymous
S.C. has a population of just over 5 million. 63% non Hispanic white 27% black 5% Hispanic and small percentages of Asian, Native American and others. Trump won the state 54-40.
good for them!! I hope they spend and save wisely!
That cant be. I dont live in SC.
i read somewhere (!) that they want to announce the winner to prove that a) people win! and b) it’s not a lottery official. who knows? I would get a lawyer and a fake name asap, too many people would come crawling out with their hands out.
What I want to know is if the jackpot went from 1 billion to 1.6 billion in the seven hours from the drawing to the time they announced no winners Saturday morning...
WHY didn’t the jackpot go up during the days after? People were buying tickets like crazy.
You left out world peace and all the children of the world.
That’s a lot of meth.
