Both managers are making so many moves that they should consider hiring United Van Lines.
Exciting game, but Im going back to bed.

The constant pitching changes have absolutely ruined the game.
When I was a boy, I used to sit in Fenway Park and watch a double-header in about four hours. That was before the "twi-light" doubleheader nonsense where they kicked you out of the park after game one and made you pay to get back in for game 2.
Starting pitchers would normally go 7 or 8 innings on a regular basis with one reliever coming in. There were also many complete games.

I remember that too, but that was before 98 mph fastballs were commonplace. The game has evolved in athleticism by leaps and bounds over the last fifty years.

I was sitting in the bleachers as a 14-year-old boy when this
wild pitch was thrown. I thought it was a routine foul and wondered why the crowd went crazy. Then I saw the highlights on the news that night.

So when I was growing up, the Red Sox were the lovable losers. Hadn't won a World Series since 1918 but they were fun to watch. I watched pretty much every game from about 1973 to 1980 and went to Fenway at least 200 times. Almost always to sit in the bleachers which was $1.75 for most of my childhood. My newspaper route money allowed me to go as much as I wanted.
They came close to winning it all in 1975 and in 1978, I was there on the last game of the season when the Red Sox had to win and the Yankees had to lose to force a playoff game - and got on Boston TV (channel 5) after the game in a "fan on the street" interview.
In the 2000s, my son became the big fan and he's gotten to see three Red Sox World Series victories so far with a fourth one only three games away.
I knew my kids were going to be spoiled.

Lucky kids, lol! They have no idea what we went through all those years. ;-)
I'm still a naturally pessimistic Red Sox fan. I have no idea how this series is going to end up. Wish some of the Red Sox pitchers were better. And I *really* wish Cora would eliminate Ian Kinsler and put in Brock Holt instead!

We want Brock! We want Brock!Alex Cora is having an amazing run in his new position. His older brother Joey is the third base/infield coach for the Pirates.
FOX sports talking heads are awful! They spent more time rubber-necking for celebrities in the stands than following the game.
