Could’ve ended in normal time if not for Bellinger’s Blunder.
To: darkangel82
Or in the 10th if not for Bellinger’s great throw to home.

We had a little one born at noon today. We gonna name him “Evo Sox” after Eovaldi. Born 10-27-18, the day of the Eovaldi 18-inning loss.

1981 -— Dodgers lost the first two in New York, came back to sweep three in L.A. and won game six in NY.
I saw game 5. Amazing victory over Ron Guidry. Dodgers down 1-0 in bottom of the sixth. Back to back homeruns by Guerrero and Yeager in almost the same spot in left center. Later that game, Ron Cey was hit in the head by Gossage and had to be carried off the field. A frightening moment.

Yup. I watched every damn one of those 18 innings. And I had to get up fairly early to attend an event with friends earlier this afternoon. I'm dragging... I've only had about 5 hours' sleep. But I wouldn't miss any of these WS games for the world! GO SOX!! 😀
According to CBS Sports, Brock Holt *will* be in tonight's game.

The umps were on the field for the entire 7 hours. Wonder if there is a new crew working tonight’s game.

I know... That’s astounding! I couldn’t stand for a straight 7 hours and 20 minutes. Many on tonight’s crew are the same guys from last night.

Where's Larry King? His seat is empty. Is he sleeping in? Mary Hart made it back.

Hiya, nutmeg!
I have to admit that I’ve lost a wee bit of interest, since my beloved Astros embarrassed themselves.
But....not to worry....my heart is in it, for the Red Sox to WIN IT!!
We LOVE going to see games in Boston, at Fenway. We love the people of Boston...they have been SO friendly, to us Texans.
We tried staying up to watch, last night...and just couldn’t do it.
Watching....and praying, now!
Go BoSox!

Yes— everyone else on the field has a chance to sit. If it is cold, the dugouts are heated. If hot, then there are fans near the dugouts. But nothing on the field for the umps. And they are not all young guys. Have to hand it to them!
