Last June John Cox, the Republican candidate for governor, said President Donald Trump will campaign for him and other California conservatives running for office this fall. Well time is getting short. President Trump where are you? Look at Trump's gigantic rally in Houston. Let's watch President Trump turn California from a Blue State to a RED STATE. President Trump we NEED YOU. Please come.
One problem. Even if Cox is elected, the legislature is so top-heavy with Dems, it’s difficult for any conservative legilation to be approved.

Maybe; maybe not. In the last Maryland Governor’s race the Republican candidate (Larry Hogan) “had no chance”. But the ‘RATS actually went too far and actually enacted a “rain tax”. Yes, they actually did that...passed a special “rain” tax on the square footage all improvements (e.g., buildings, parking areas, driveways, patios, sheds) that stood between rain falling directly onto bare earth. Now we have Governor Hogan and no longer have a rain tax.
When will the California ‘RATS similarly go too far...or have they already?

Look newbee, unless your home address is in either the
great states of Florida or Texas your own state did not
provide more popular votes for Trump than did California.
My personal opinion is that if a poster (I hesitate to
refer to you with the complimentary term “FReeper”) is
going to take shots at a state then they ought to be
brave enough to publish their own locale for everyone
to see.
You might consider taking a look at the bottom of the
page and my own bio statement. First, you would learn
that FR is based in Fresno, CALIFORNIA and, second,
you would get an idea of just where I think haters
like you can go. Further, the sickness of liberalism
doesn’t have a home address. It is everywhere and
California sure as hell didn’t invent it.
Besides the above, California is the home of more
FReepers than any other state and provides more
in the way of financial aid to FR, as well.
There are more registered Republicans and more conservatives in California than any other state. More Conservative $ donations come out of CA than any other state. Yes it is reflection of it being the most populous state but this is the state that elected Ronald Reagan governor twice.
Now before you think I am nuts, yes the state has gone lefty, unfortunately there are now even more lefties or at least “identity voters”. It’s largely a result of the illegal immigration, the state through the 40s,50s,60s and 70s was a state that was populated by people from the Midwest, Texas and OK. State demographics reflected about 70% Caucasian, now it is 49%. The Democrats essential gave illegal immigrants a welcome pack at the border and that has been the voting difference.
Trump needs to come up with a slogan on the immigration situation that shifts the emotional appeal, something like saying these illegal are cutting the line.
It blows my mind that Mansion can still win in WV after Obama and Hillary both said coal was dead. Trump should make WV red for 50 years at least. California will probably never go red with SF and LA so blue.

I would love for Trump to come to CA. however the last time he came to CA. the poor guy had to get out of the car ON THE FREEWAY run down a freeway exit with SS in tow, hop over the exit guard rail run through the weeds and dirt and in the back door of the venue due to VIOLENT protesters waving Mexican flags!!! This state is LOST there are many conservatives here but not enough to make up for huge city populations, MANY, MANY conservatives have fled the state already and coming here is NOT worth his safety!!!! It is so amnesty biased here that the invading caravan have said they are NOT going to Texas or AZ. but heading straight to CA.!!!!

Why count it as useless? Get him and and God may do some thing to help it along to where some things are able to be accomplished. Even just getting him in is a seed of hope for the future. Faith is key.

Totally disagree. One of the campaign events that galvanized me was when Candidate Trump went to a rally in California where Antifa goons were attacking his supporters. He got out and walked through scrub, and through fences to get in there. I believe it was in San Jose.

Why is it some of you people constantly scream and cry about CA liberals invading your states, yet people like you and others are constantly urging or begging Californians to leave for other states?
And if the state is dead and full of Communist, why do you want Californians to leave for your state and or other states?
I find comments like yours to be conflicting and inconsistent. And it's probably a safe bet your comments were formed from years of envy.
