Thousands of people were already camped out at a key early voting location in Houston on Monday morning, hours before voting was even set to begin.
Nearly 2,000 people stood in line outside of the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center on West Gray near River Oaks in a scene that looked more like a Black Friday shopping morning.

Wealthy does not equal conservative.
Also Monstrose, being Houstons gay district, is consequently ultra-liberal.
The MSMLSD will continue to lie and say a blue wave is coming.
River Oaks is Democrcrat. It’s where Bob Lanier lived.
Barack Obama has attended house party fundraisers there.
Just voted in Dallas. Huge turnout; big line, looked like a heavy presidential rather than a midterm. I am in Sessions’ district; saw a number of Sessions signs, but no Allred signs or workers. Most concerning were the swarms of Beto droids working the lines, handing out Beto stickers, which large numbers were taking. Saw no Cruz signs or workers. Clearly there is a big ‘virtue signalling’ effect in supporting Beto, and people are intimidated against showing support for Cruz. Also clearly, there’s tremendous enthusiasm on both sides; I just don’t know which way it’s going to work out
Not trying to be an ass....I just find it interesting...people's answers.
What do you think is "rich or wealthy"?
What....like in gay clubs?
Some big bundlers for the dems.
No that’s Fort Worth
Just voted in Denton County.
Record numbers voting.
Just voted in Kerrville. Long lines obviously heavy turnout. Hope this indicates big repubo. Most were as old or older than I. In my 70s.
I’m working this election even obscure Vote location where I can normally embroider as I await a voter got slam-bam ed first thing in AM with bare bones staff and only two stations. Total freak out here!! Hispanic deep root hood with an older guy wearing the RED HAT’ LOL
“River Oaks is wealthy and conservative.”
But how gerrymandered is their district?
Well, River Oaks certainly qualifies.
“When I lived in Houston from 1995 to 1997 the River Oaks area was very Republican”
Someone upthread said it is SJL district. The REP vote is a heavily watered down if so
For early voting purposes this is not really a relevant question. Anyone in Harris County can early vote at any Harris County early voting location.
As far as SJLs district is concerned, if youre inside the loop, youre probably in her district.
No, nearly 200 miles from Sessions’ district
I voted REPUBLICAN today in Arkansas. My Democratic ancestors who never registered because they did not want to be called for jury duty, have never missed an election since they died. Always Democrat.(Sarc)
No doubt when I kick the bucket, I will begin voting Democrat for the next 100 years.
But that's cool....
River Oaks is a very rich area here in town, they are not voting Democratic, Texas rich people!
