Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.

During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.

"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

From a couple of sources I’ve heard or read that among the nearly 800 military being sent to the border there are doctors and engineers.

I can’t help wondering why engineers are mentioned, in particular?

Building something?

I really am going to bed now, but I remembered one thing and noticed one other thing.

I remembered that the third group mentioned, along with doctors and engineers, was lawyers.

I noticed that the photo on President Trump’s Twitter page is from his Houston rally.

In the photo is the huge crowd. There’s a large Texas flag to the right and President Trump is barely more than a dot at the podium on the left side of the photo. There is only one rally sign large enough to be noticeable in that photo and it says “Finish the Wall”.

This is such a long shot that I hesitate to post it, but, what the heck - what if the sections of wall have been under construction off-site using funds allocated to the military for national defense and this invasion is the reason to haul the sections to the border and start putting them up?

I’m verrry sleepy.
