Funny.
That's the absolute winner on the list, because the "second opinion" could be competely contrary to the first. How to resolve...
I firmly believe that God is the master punster and has a habit of saying/thinking, "How if I just drop this here".
For example, the man who is famous for the first observations through a telescope (meaning to see at distance, "far-seeing") was named Galileo Galilei - IOW, Galilean, doubled. A galil ("Galilee") is a cylinder, and all sorts of words are based on the root galal, to roll. Like the word gal, "wave". Or the Megillah, the scroll [of Esther].
Acts 1:10-11 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
"In physics refraction is the change in direction of a wave passing from one medium to another or from a gradual change in the medium.[1] Refraction of light is the most commonly observed phenomenon, but other waves such as sound waves and water waves also experience refraction. How much a wave is refracted is determined by the change in wave speed and the initial direction of wave propagation relative to the direction of change in speed.
The design Galileo Galilei used in 1609 is commonly called a Galilean telescope. It used a convergent (plano-convex) objective lens and a divergent (plano-concave) eyepiece lens (Galileo, 1610).[6] A Galilean telescope, because the design has no intermediary focus, results in a non-inverted and upright image.

Refracting telescopes - tubes: cylinders, monoculars. They see into the heavens by bending light waves (galim). The Renaissance man known as the "father of observational astronomy" was named Galileo Galilei and was born in Pisa (pi zeh, על פי זה), known for its famous cylindrical leaning tower that points at an angle toward heaven:
"There has been controversy about the real identity of the architect of the Leaning Tower of Pisa."
Wink.
Galileo is buried in Florence opposite the tomb of Michelangelo (the fellow famous for his statue of David), at the front entrance of the church that has a prominent blue star of David top center (thanks to its Jewish architect). He wasn't buried in that [respectable] spot until 1737 though (95 years after his death), when a few of his bones "just so happened" to be removed in the process.
Gen 50.25. And Joseph took an oath from the people of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you [=1737], and you shall carry up my bones from here:
Nothing is by accident. One of them was his middle finger.
Returning in like manner as ye have seen him go
From the ground, then on up. What's revealed in the Galil (cylinder, scroll).
You all have a blessed Punday!
Groans. But I sent them to a friend.
