The story reminds me of the fictional story of a young woman with a flat tire in a bad section of town at night who is approached by 4 young men as she's trying to change the tire. The question is posed: Does it make a difference to the outcome of the story if we know the 4 young men are just leaving a weekly Bible study.

I've seen poverty, my Brother-in-law grew up in poverty in Honduras. Poverty does not cause crime, greed and the lust for power cause crime.............
