Now it will be the Red Sox, led by rookie manager Alex Cora, who represent the AL in the World Series, which will start on Tuesday night at Fenway Park against the Dodgers or Brewers. This is the first trip to the Fall Classic for Boston since 2013, which has a chance to win its fourth championship since that infamous 86-year drought finally ended in '04.

Good luck in the world series
I don’t follow baseball as much as I used to but I do keep track of the Red Sox as I grew up with them. I think this might be the best team they have ever fielded. 108 wins during the regular season - that doesn’t happen too often. Sweeping the Astros on their home field was pretty impressive.
Good for David Price.. super nice guy and a former Vandy pitcher!
Did the Red Sox pitchers do some more head hunting tonight?
No game tonight.
Oops,I goofed.
Watched ASU/Stanford. Pretty good game.
I don’t watch football but I have a grandson at Penn State —— not a player but loves the sport, and he’s in a good place for it,I hear.
I am happy for Mitch Mooreland and Ian Kinsler.
Otherwise, not a Boston fan.
Congrats David Price.
Woe Tigers...(Price, Verlander, Porcello, Fister and Scherzer gone)
HOORAY Boston.
Go Porcello, Kinsler and J.D.
As a lifelong Yankee fan, all I can say is...
Boston still sucks/jk.
Alex Cora has "pushed all the right buttons" - he's got a keen sense for the game (helped along by baseball savant Tony La Russa, no doubt).
That outfield trio is fun to watch - maybe better even than Rice, Lynn, and Evans?
