I didn’t think it was all that bad. Granted, I didn’t like that they killed Roseanne off via opiod overdose, but at least they didn’t portray her as a druggie or anything. I thought the treatment of Dan’s anger towards the woman who had given her the prescription pills - when he was really just working through his grief - was exceptionally good.
John Goodman is an exceptional actor. One of the few guys where if he were reading the phone book, it would be engaging.
Michael Caine is in that league as well.
I actually chuckled a few times. I still don’t think it will make it. I feel bad for John Goodman, although he will always have work somewhere. I always liked him. He’s like Gene Hackman, no matter what he’s in, he’s always good.
I thought they were making her out to have been a druggie. They found drugs hidden around the house. She wasn't getting drugs just from the lady Dan blamed for Roseanne's death.
