Nevada brothel owner Dennis Hof dies at 72
LAS VEGAS - Nevada brothel owner, TV show star, and candidate for the state legislature, Dennis Hof, has died, according to his campaign manager.
Chuck Muth announced the death Tuesday morning. He says he passed away at his Love Ranch South brothel. Nye County officials haven't confirmed his passing yet.
He was known nationwide for his role in the HBO series "Cathouse," which documented the lives of the workers in his half-a-dozen Nevada brothels.
His brothel empire started with his purchase of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch in 1992. He was well-known for his proposing that the brothels be taxed by the state. Nye County officials had recently closed the Love Ranch South brothel which was reopened after a win in court.
Hof was recently ran a successful campaign in the primary election for Assembly District 36. He was facing Democrat Lisa Romanov in the November general election.
He was 72-years-old.

That’s a choice that the young ladies themselves make, not him.
He just gave them a safe, secure LEGAL place to do it in. And nothing he did infringes/infringed on ANY of your rights.
Life is full of choices, and everyone makes them every day.
You don’t have to agree with it, but that’s the thing about Freedom. Everyone’s view of it and how to best maximum their lives is different.
I’d drop being a Republican before I accepted that. Shame on the party for letting him campaign under their banner. Well, he’s dead. Good riddance.

I grew up in North Philly. I’ve seen it all. You have zero idea about how, where, or what I’ve seen while growing up.
This guy provided a legal service and a safe, secure place for those women - women who MADE THEIR OWN PERSONAL LIFE CHOICE - to do what they do. If he ever laid a rough hand on them - which is doubtful - they could go to the cops and press charges at any time. But apparently that’s not the case.
It’s legal there. It’s NOT legal elsewhere. This isn’t even remotely equivalent to some assclown beating on “his” women to keep them in line and take their money to support himself.
As I’ve said - you don’t have to agree with nor accept it. It is what it is, doesn’t harm you nor infringe on ANY of your rights, and you can’t change it, short of getting elected.

Again, why assume he even believed in Christ at all? Not everyone does.
If they don't believe in Christ, they go to hell.
God is a perfect Holy God that knows no sin. He judges us by His standards not ours. The goal that he has set before us is perfection.

There are two ways to be perfect: 1) Never sin or 2) Be Forgiven.
Scripture tells us that Nobody except Jesus will accomplish #1. Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
So #2 "being forgiven" is his, mine and your only hope. John 3:16, John 3:14-21, Rom 3:24-28, Rom 4:8, Isa 1:18
Some people think that God will judge us on a Bell curve where if we are closer to Mother Teresa than Hitler, we will be okay. That's not what scripture says. We have to be perfect.
Mother Teresa without Christ is toast. She would be judged on her works and whatever evil she committed would condemn her to the second death. Saul, renamed Paul, was killing Christians thinking he was doing the will of God. With Christ, despite his murders, Paul was saved.
I understand Islam teaches the scales of justice, where as long as your good deeds outweigh your bad deeds you'll be okay. Standing before a perfect Holy God with 49% bad deeds, or 29% or 9% or 1% or any bad deeds is a recipe for toast.

Why would you say that? That's really sad. There's always gonna be time to make sure. Until there's not. But it's a situation that's really easy to fix. Death is a reality, but it's not a finality. You do get to choose where your immortal soul spends eternity.

I dropped the Republican Party (after 37 years of activism and donations) in January of 2012 because of they'd become -- Democrat Lite and I've never felt better about my choices. Seeing the internal resistance to Trump just makes me all the more certain of this.
