ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) - The woman seen in a viral video confronting and blocking a St. Louis man from entering his downtown loft was fired from her job Sunday.
Tribeca-STL, which says it is a minority-owned business, released a statement Sunday afternoon saying its owners were "disturbed" by the interaction in the video.
The company confirmed the woman in the video was an Tribeca-STL employee but the incident took place at her personal residence.
Cellphone footage captured the confrontation between the two tenants showing the woman stopping a man from entering his downtown loft and demanding proof he lived there.
D'Arreion Toles was returning home from a late night at the office when a tenant who lived on the third floor of Elder Shirt Lofts created a roadblock.

It seems he entered while she, or someone was exiting.
It seems like you're making stuff up.
Was with my wife and kids with airline baggage. Had to go through a security guard gate, another gate into condo, and enter a pin to get to lobby. three tier system. But no......not to her.
Nope, she was a busy body whom I should have told to STFU instead of being nice. I’d take my chances with Longboat Key PD vs her wasting oxygen infront of my family.
30 damn units there, she doesn’t know everyone and neither would you.
I’m not understanding why she was fired for something not related to her job, and something she hasn’t been charged with a violation over.
She is a jerk, so there is that. Perhaps there are other issues with her that do apply at work.
So if a protestor blocks your car in Arkansas, you can get them arrested for kidnapping...
I actually think that should be true everywhere. If someone blocks a street so my car is trapped, I’m getting out, and assuming there is an officer nearby the protestors (always is), I’m going to ask them to arrest the protestors. When they say now, I’m going to ask if I can legally park my car on the road and catch a ride home. When they say no, I’m going to say that I have been kidnapped by the protestors. And if they say I am free to go, then I’m going to say the protestors stole my car, since i can’t move it, and I’m not allowed to leave it.
Frankly, I’d like to get a few hundred people trapped in the cars, and get out, and surround the protestors, and tell them we are not letting them leave until the laws are changed to stop our cars from getting blocked. After all, we are outraged, and want our voices heard.
And he was certainly willing to get face time on TV because of this traumatic racist event wasn't he??????
You have a very colorful imagination.
classless creep
She was in real estate.
She is accused of discrimination.
If she did that again while on the job, she would set her employer up for a suit.
The woman’s actions were inappropriate & unwise.
Who elected her doorman? She had no authority to deny entrance to anybody.
She risked he life for what exactly? If the man was a bad guy, her & her little dog could well have become a murder statistic.
If she had suspicions, 911 is the answer.
I might suggest a picture board of all the tenants w/o names & apt. # - a picture is sufficient.
“I might suggest a picture board of all the tenants w/o names & apt. # - a picture is sufficient.”
No thanks.
I live in a secure building but several of my kids have fobs and keys to obtain access.
There is no 100% security anyplace-—people just have to be careful.
What this woman did was STUPID.
.
How about this: "And he was certainly willing to get face time on TV because of this event, wasn't he?"
You got a problem with that, because it's certainly not "colorful imagination"...........
So what say you brother??"???????
Inquiring minds want to know.............
woman stopping a man from entering his downtown loft and demanding proof he lived there. shoulda showed it the key...
“shoulda showed it the key...”
He has no obligation to show a stranger his key.
And she is now jobless.
no obligation no... but it's all the proof i'd of given her
She lookd like she got what she deserved. He appears very reasonable and nice.
As a post script, should I be fearful of you using our conversation to slander me or others on whatever Facebook or social media account you may have?
Again, a colorful imagination.
Her demeanor is weird.
It is as if she is hitting on him and it goes very wrong.
In any case, she needs to up the dose of Xanax.
