Some parents are proud when their kids are kind, generous, loving and compassionate. Feminist parents are proud when their kid CRIES after encountering a non-feminist.

That’s exactly what Maggie Gyllenhaal’s daughter did. She’s obviously proud, because she told the story to everyone on “The View.”

“She ran into somebody recently, a little girl her age, who said she wasn’t feminist and my daughter was astonished … she came home and cried to me about it,” she said.

That, my friends, is what feminist parenting does. It creates weak little snowflakes who cry when someone disagrees with their worldview. (Although I have a feeling that Gyllenhaal’s daughter has no idea what a third wave feminist actually is. She was probably told that feminism simply means supporting women, so when someone tells her that they’re NOT a feminist, she thinks it means they actually hate women and believe they’re lesser or something.)
