Voting should be on the Saturday just before April 15.
Maybe they ought to flip to the European method of Sunday elections.
We have lot’s of holiday’s that can be re purposed for elections.
I have never had a problem voting before or after work. I don't remember ever having to take time off from work to vote. And I've voted in just about every election for over 30 years.
If voting is not important enough for a person to find a way to do it, they shouldn’t be voting.
I have always been allowed to vote and be paid. Don’t know about the rest of the country.
Most people manage to vote who want to vote. Weird. On their way to work, On their way home from work. They run out during lunch. Some times they go home, collect the wife, and they go vote together. All this has gone on since the dawn of the republic, and all with no help from Steyer.
The folks who dont vote are not interested to vote, arent interested in the issues, and its OK that they dont vote.
13 hours in Pennsylvania, 7 am to 8 pm. The workers must be in by 6 am to get things set up. They might get to go home an hour or so later after all the absentee votes are counted and the results posted. The judge puts in about another hour driving the results to the court house and turning in the supplies.
I never had a problem voting,I’ll go to work, get off work and vote,On Nov. 6.
The Democrat Party would like for “voters” to register for a party, and then every candidate that part runs would get a vote from each voter who registered for the party. Automatically. No need even to have polling places...
One time I did because I was under a tight deadline at work and I didn't know if I would get home early enough. I had to sign swearing that I would be out of the county on election day. Well, I worked just over the county line so yes I was out of the county.
More snowflakery
Nope.
It's only fair I share a Link.
Hillary Clinton AFL-CIO Convention FULL Speech in Philadelphia,PA
This is ridiculous.
People do not have take unpaid time off from work. Polls tend to be open from 8 am to 8 pm, so people can go and vote before or after work.
In some places, like California, you can also vote absentee, just for asking.
Before mail in ballots I always voted early before going to work.
Utter nonsense
Most people have PTO. If not then they can use absentee ballots or early voting
And don’t forget absentee voting as well.
