BTW, Sunday is the anniversary of the battle of Hastings ...
Hope he knew Jesus.
I read about Assegai spears and thought it would be cool to order one from Amazon. But, then I thought that something like this might happen and didn’t act on the impulse.
Hoisted on his own Petard.
Peter went to spear a paper plate while on horseback when something went wrong and his lance impaled him under his sternum, WLWT confirms.

Sad story and all but how do you get killed by a paper plate?
Boy, he really stuck it to himself.
Very sad, but accidents happen with sharp implements. My sympathy to his family and friends.
Chainmail. Wear it.
Do you know what one calls a Medieval masturbaitor ?
Pounding Serf
I was told “don’t run with scissors.” I guess “don’t run with a lance” is also not bad advice.

“Barclay was trying to spear a paper plate on the ground.
Barclays brother posted on Facebook that the metal tip of his brother’s lance hit the ground, flipped and then impaled him under his sternum.”
I hope he love what he was doing. No better way to go. Bless him and his family.
RIP
Fulton apparently did not prepare his remarks ahead of time.
I’ve portrayed a Mexican Lancer in a movie and the 9 foot lance can be dangerous if one loses it on horseback at a canter. In a Civil War sequence I saw a fellow trooper lose his sword and as it bounced I winced seeing it almost impale the horse. Weapons and horses at speed have some dangerous consequences if something goes array.
Oopseth....
Poor fella. RIP.
Not as much as he was, though....................
