TERRIFYING: Two storm chasers got caught in the storm surge as Hurricane Michael roared ashore in the Florida panhandle and had to bail from the truck while they were live streaming their storm coverage. This is kind of long but if you want to see some what cat 4 / cat 5 devastation looks like, well this is a pretty good visual description. Insane video of storm chaser Brett Adair getting caught out by Hurricane Michael storm surge and having to abandon vehicle

That is a video of a moron. 2 minutes into that video and I could tell you that guy was in HUGE trouble.

From what I could tell, almost all the streams on that site stopped at once... There were errors from too many people trying to access, and somewhere in that time frame the cell towers quit.

I’m out on disability so I was actually riding along virtually with those two redneck dumbasses as they drove full speed to Mexico beach and the eye wall.

I stayed longer than they did (they bailed for higher ground) before the feed was cut. Everyone on the chat thought they were dead.

All of the video streams pretty much went dead at that point.

There were about 8 different storm chaser feeds and as the storm went north, each stopped when the storm winds got really bad. Probably works better for torados than hurricanes.

If you lost a connection, you could not get it back and the storm chaser disappeared from the map.
