Miniature horses may be allowed, but squirrels? Not so fast.
A wheelchair-bound woman in Orlando was thrown off a Frontier Airlines flight for refusing to part with her so-called emotional support squirrel.
Frontier Airlines Flight 1612, bound for Cleveland, was set to depart Tuesday night when a situation developed onboard. A passenger had indicated that an emotional support pet would accompany her when booking her reservation, but never indicated what type of animal that would be. Turns out it was a squirrel.
Squirrels, according to Frontiers guidelines on emotional support animals, are not permitted onboard:
We do not accept unusual or exotic animals including but not limited to rodents, reptiles, insects, hedgehogs, rabbits, sugar gliders, non-household birds or improperly cleaned and/or animals with foul odor.
When told by flight attendants that squirrels were not permitted onboard, she put up a fuss, refusing to exit the aircraft. Rather than risk another David Dao incident, all other passengers were instructed to exit the aircraft. Most had no idea what was going on.
The police were called and eventually the woman was wheeled off the aircraft. You can see, based on the video below, that she was not at all pleased about her ejection, as she extends her middle finger to the crowd of onlookers. No word on whether she was fined or prosecuted.
Passengers re-boarded shortly thereafter and the Frontier flight ultimately reached Cleveland about two hours late.

Bestest...
“If someone told me they required an emotional support squirrel to travel, the first thoughts across my mind would be of euthanasia and mercy killing.”
lolol...#MeToo. At least electroconvulsive therapy
Skink!
She is literally saying that this squirrel is more emotionally stable than SHE is. Otherwise how could it calm her down when she’s losing it.
Insane.
Just checked Southwest, says dogs and cats so Im assuming everything not listed is verboten. I wonder how theyd feel about a docile and well behaved rat in a secure FAA approved carrier?
...
Humans are more closely related to rats than to dogs and cats.
#2. That’s what the squirrel said when interviewed.
#14, Don’t accidentally shoot down your own plane. You never know when a Sidewinder will go off.
Most in Nam didn’t work.
Florida EvNS HAS SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT YOUR POST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKUwcCp7LPE
Did she at least have a parachute?
And I guess if one needed constant hugs for psychological stability, they would also not allow a 6’ Boa Constrictor.....
Haha! :D
Is it just me, or are more people becoming defiant over littler things these days?

I wouldn't want to sit next to her even if she was sans squirrel.
She's just another reason to drive instead of fly.
You want TERRORISM, let her board the plane with that squirrel, and then release the squirrel and watch what happens. Add the possibility of rabbis and you have quite an ‘event’.
Even with the pilots safely sealed in the cockpit, the constantly shifting center of mass of the cabin would make the plane very difficult to control.
Good for Frontier to hold the line there.
Squirrels aren't kosher so I would expect any rabbis.
Her next move will be to accuse the head CEO of Frontier Airlines of sexual harassment while they went to different high schools together.
