MIRANDA: Doctor, is the squirrel going to live?

DOCTOR: There’s been massive trauma. We could of course try to save him but it would be costly, difficult and we’d have to send away for some special really tiny instruments.

GEORGE: Well, uh, are there any other options?

DOCTOR: We could put him to sleep.

GEORGE: What might that cost?

DOCTOR: Well, it’s by the pound. So ... about 80 cents.

Tree rats, but they and my dog have a mutual, personal physical trainer pact.

I wonder if the squirrel has a corroborating story of multiple partner sexual exploits so the Deep State will shield him from illegal subversive activity and FISA court warrant shenanigans?

Hmmm, times are different. When I was 9 years old I got a J.C. Higgins single shot .410. My dad would take me down to a little creek and we’d shoot squirrels that were in the oak trees. In spite of being a rodent, they were good eating. Never thought of trying to revive one.

Wonder if that would work around here when they get lead poisoning? Lead poisoning is a result of eating tomatoes in the garden.

A nice sized [for Florida] squirrel made a miscalculation a while back while cavorting with another squirrel, and fell out of a big tree by my chicken house...I heard it smack into branches 3 or 4 times before it hit the ground. So could my female cat; she flew by me and was waiting for it on the first bounce.

She didn’t come in for supper that night she was so full.

Circle of life.
Man administers CPR to squirrel and saves it’s life.
nd a hawk swoops down and takes the squirrel for it’s dinner.
Kind of brings tears to the eyes.

The CPR giver was a guy named Moose.

Our walnut tree did not produce. I found myself worried about our squirrels....for about one minute.

Squirrel? They’re nothing more than rats with bushy tails.

Capybaras are cuter. Think a giant guinea pig.

My first thought is *WHY?*

But reading the article it reads like satire so I’m going to presume it is as NOBODY would ever really try to save a squirrel’s life.

Wonder what political party that guy belongs to! Tree huggin’ party! Guess he’s never had property destroyed by squirrels. They are a menace as nearly everyone knows. Against the law to shoot them in our county and possibly the entire state.

We’ve had more property damage done by two-legged animals than four-footed.

I’d rather have the squirrels.

Not only did the kiddo save the squirrel, he had the good sense to high five the officers with the hand that wasn’t touching the squirrel.

My hat’s off to that young man! Well done!

It was a squirrel. They are ubiquitous pests. Kill them all.
