This show will be a huge flop. The only reason it did well first season was because of Roseanne Barr. Sarah Gilbert is...let’s just say...completely unappealing. Despite being nominated for an Emmy, Laurie Metcalf was really bad and too over the top, unlike her portrayal of Mary Cooper on Big Bang Theory (which was truly worthy of an Emmy).
I believe most of the lousy crap in last year’s season came from Sarah Gilbert (the transvestite kid, the black kid, and the innuendo that Metcalf’s and or Gilbert’s characters may or may not be lesbians).
Despite the talented John Goodman, this new version is gonna flat out suck. And, in this role, even John Goodman will suck, because it’s promoting things that either most people don’t want to hear or are tired of hearing.

Goodman is looking good to me. Dropped an incredible amount of weight. Probably tummy surgery, along with a lot of exrecise. I’ve known a few people who’ve done that and been successful. I am glad he’s one. Not all are.
Well, they already picked off CBS’ Les Moonves. Will Ben Sherwood be next?

You are more optimistic than I. I five it four, maybe five weeks. Then they burn off the rest in half hour blocks on a Tuesday afternoon.

The guy has lost a lot of weight which is good but gravity has taken its toll on his skin and facial features. Most women in Hollywood would have had the ‘nip, snip, suck and tuck’ procedures. I’m kinda glad Goodman hasn’t done that (that I can tell) as I think it would look really weird.

He might have had bariatric surgery. A friend of mine is a big monster of a guy. 6’7” or so. He was about 250 lbs and carried it pretty well.
I think he’s are around 250 now and has the same look as Goodman. He’s much healthier but looks a little misshapen still.
In a related note, Last Man Standing has been revived on FOX and the first episode last week was a winner. Plenty of in-jokes about dumb networks cancelling shows, different actors, etc. There was also plenty of lib bashing, although the show plays fair and lets the lib characters get a few shots in, too. Good stuff.

That makes the most sense....since, in one of her last scenes, she was seen hiding pain pills, in the freezer (in an icepack).
The show will still suffer, without her.

We loved the first episode of the revived Last Man Standing.
We’ve set the dvr to record all episodes.
I see the look of “FAIL”, on their faces.
