Many times messages from scripture remind me of the wisdom this Cherokee Chief passes to his grandson of the battle that goes on inside all people.
Events of late cause me to included the nation in the observation.
The story speaks for itself.
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between 2 "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:
"Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied,
"The one you feed."
I don’t care much for wolves, so I’d likely just gut shoot both of them.
I have begun to realize I dont have emotions. No anger, no sadness. I have two states of being. Peace and War. Today is War.
Great Sunday morning post!
Wisdom and common sense trumps years of college indoctination.
I saw a live feed of Wolf Blitzer, but I changed the channel.
I guess that’s better than gut shootin’ him.
We all know what wolf the rats and their criminal cohorts are feeding
Peace is war held in abeyance.
A person share this with me several years ago during tjeost absolute worst time iny entire life. While that battle left deep scars and injuries and forever altered me as a person, feeding that good wolf mitigated the damage, and saved my life.
