Photos were erroneously (admitted soon) labeled "Antarctica" (but misspelled).

Several responses re the wide view image blew the "Antartctica" possibility out of the water...

Poster (FReeper numberonepal) soon admitted to the erroneous labeling.

The above represent some of the things I love about FR, FReepers, and FReeQs:

1. FR is bascially self-policing when it comes to fact-checking.

2. FReepers (especially FReeQs) are quick to question -- and are adept at researching -- and are not hesitant about pointing out -- whether things posted on FR are factual.

3. Many FReepers (and most FReeQs) are not reticent about admitting "Mea Goofa" when they post in error.

4. Many FReepers (and most FReeQs) are gracious about accepting "Mea Goofa"s when they are admitted.

5. Many FReepers (and most FReeQs) are not reticent about expressing appreciation for their FRiends when they do admit to errors.

Great post re fact-checking.

Point 1 : Though I might not spend a lot of time on it, perhaps the image and/or Antarctica is significant. Just because the building was not in Antarctica doesn’t mean that neither is important. I’m more inclined to focus on more current events and Q posts, but I’m definitely filing this away in the corner of my mind.

Point 2 : It’s VERY odd that a building of that size would be seemingly in the middle of nowhere.

Point 3 : It’s even more odd that there would be ZERO pictures of it on the internet. Did Google not want us to find it?
