I have some thoughts about Judge Kavanaugh. I don't think he is a conservative ideologue like Amy Barrett will be. He probably was the best bet the democrats had to replace Anthony Kennedy. He is a stare decisis technocrat. He is fair, balanced and absolutely devoted to the rule of law and the Constitution. He probably would have upset a few conservatives over time. Having said this, I have a feeling he won't be on the Supreme Court. Either he will withdraw under the withering unjust criticism that none of us could withstand or republicans like Flake, etc will doom this most decent and qualified human to this seat. Morally I find this procedure repugnant on the personal level. A decent, just, Christian man is going to be pilloried by leftist post-modern post-christian nihilist of the worst sort. Just a parting note to you Alabamians who voted for Senator Scott. Thank you very much for your vote and I'm sure Ashley Kavanaugh thanks you too for your treatment of her father!
He will be confirmed next week.
I’m praying for that!
I see your point, I think we win, whatever happens.
After the dims and media have destroyed his name and put him and his family through hell... he is not going to quit.. his name, in his community and his court, would be mud for years. He has to stay in this to get any semblance of order back into his life.
The easy way out is to quit. But his name and his future... his family.. he will try to restore this.
He will be confirmed. You don’t stick with it this far to give up now.
I hope this episode is going to turn Kavanaugh into the kind of Supreme Court justice who might make Antonin Scalia look like a homosexual Marxist in comparison.
If the repubs gain any seats at all Trump is going to ram Amy Coney Barrett down their throats and these democrat scum are going to find out what a Scalia the 2nd is like.
He’s not going to withdraw.
His entire career and life are in jeopardy. He has no choice but to fight this defamation to the bitter end. They’ve left him no choice.
The false asccusser(s) must be destroyed.
Now, because of what the Democrats are doing to him and his family, he’ll probably become Judge Roy Bean.
Actually, most Marxists are ardently anti-homosexual. Witness the Cuban homosexual re-education camps.
jones was elected in Ala.
I tend to agree that Cavanaugh was probably a more moderate choice than the other candidates. When Gorsuch was confirmed there were 52 repubs, now 51. Cavanagh was seen as the better choice to not annoy the sob sisters from Maine and Alaska.
I think Cavanaugh gets in. He might lose flake but I think he might get H’kamp or Manchin. Also Pence can break a tie like he did with DeVoss.
Mitch isn’t backing down, he will be confirmed next week.
Yes, I’ve got that figured in. Collins and Murkowski scare me, though. It’s going to be a nail biter, though. In the midterms the generic “push” polls have democrats between 4 and 14% ahead. I know Hillary was going to win by double digit numbers according to the same polls. I just pray conservatives, Christians, and people who appreciate having work, will turn out like a tidal wave and save our dear republic for at least 2 more years!
Yes, I’m sorry its Jones. I just got emotionally riled up!
Is he really devoted to the constitution though? Don’t get me wrong he is the best choice we have right now and would love to see him confirmed, if for no other reason than to have a conservative leaning SC for a change. As you will see in the video though, he is heavily involved in writing the patriot act. IMO that piece of legislation is about as unpatriotic as it gets and decimated the rights of all Americans.
For now I prefer to say he is still the best choice we have but lets not call him a constitutionalist.

Correct.
Ashley is Judge Kavenaugh’s wife. Liz is his 10 yr. old daughter.
Yep. My hope too. Stick it to em
Dude, You might be right. Like I said I’m an amateur at judicial analysis. I know a Constitutionalist tries to follow the original intent of the Constitution as much as possible. The “necessary and proper clause” allows us to adjust to some changes like the Air Force, etc.
