"Fox News Chris Wallace thinks the just concluded first part of Dr. Christine Blasey Fords testimony was a disaster for the GOP:" It wouldnt surprise me if Wallace had at least outlined his negative conclusion about GOP concerning Fords testimony before today.

There is reason he’s a Talking Head and not a Lawyer

There are different styles of cross-examination which you adopt based on the type of hearing. For instance, if it is a jury trial, your cross will be more theatrical and to the point, because jurors don't always dig deeply into the testimony, but often just listen for take-a-ways. If it is a bench trial, and particularly before an experienced judge, you are going to be far more methodical, as you know the judge is taking notes and looking for patterns. If you are the prosecution in a bench trial, you are typically even more subdued, because you are only trying to give the judge the facts as clearly, if not as blandly, as possible.
I think that is what we are seeing here. So little as I have heard of the hired prosecutor's cross, she is proceeding as if she is before an experienced judge who usually rules on facts almost mechanically, and is often prejudiced in favor of the prosecution. This sort of record looks good in a cold transcript, but lacks the emotional punch that the public was perhaps expecting.

His father, the utterly reprehensible Mike Wallace, said he (Mike Wallace) was a journalist before he was an American. The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.

by “her” I meant Chrissy Wallace.

Anyone watching her testimony realizes that she has no witnesses to colloberate her story, Kavanaugh does. Chris Wallace did not watch what we all watched.
