Trump starting speaking immediately after entering the chamber around 10:38 am, with remarks televised.

Minutes into his speech as he touted his accomplishments, the audience in the chamber started grumbling before falling silent again.

During his speech, Trump touted increased military spending, the tax cut, and said we are standing up for America. He boasted about his push for peace with North Korea, calling the conversations highly productive and said since the meeting, the US has already seen meaningful progress.

Trump devoted a good portion of the speech to the US approach to Iran, check official transcript.

Speech ended at 11:13 am to polite, muted applause.

We just had a very newsy pool spray with Trump ahead of his meeting with the Columbian president. We are transcribing full 16-minute exchange but highlights include:

President Trump attacking Kavanaughs second accuser, saying that she was drunk and calling out what he called time lapses in her account of the alleged incident. He blamed the current state of play with Kavanaugh on the Democrats calling it a C-O-N, con on their part and saying they just resist and obstruct since Kavanaugh has the chance to be one of the greatest justices.

On Iran, he went further than hes gone before saying that he could see the U.S. relationship with Iran following the same trajectory as the U.S. relationship with North Korea.

On Venezuela, he did not rule out military action.

And on North Korea, he again highlighted the progress of the U.S./North Korea de-nuclearization talks and said they are going far better than people understand.

Pool is waiting on Trump and other heads of state to arrive at a luncheon, hosted by the Secretary General at the UN. See photo below for the menu...

The biggest excitement in the room, so far, was when a waiter took care to pour out the presidents Diet Coke.

Luncheon is scheduled to start at 1:15.

Trump is not expected to make lengthy remarks apart from a welcome or toast in honor of the luncheons host, Secretary General*Antnio*Guterres. (For context, he was a politician in Portugal before becoming a diplomat. He became the Secretary General in 2015. Before that, he was the high commissioner for refugees).

Trump arrived at 1:22 at the North Delegates Lounge of the UN for a luncheon with all of the heads of state, hosted by the Secretary General in honor of the heads of state and government. He is shaking hands and mingling.

A UN spokesperson confirmed that Haley, Pompeo and Bolton were also invited.

Also spotted: Haley.

In case you missed it, Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted that Trump will hold a press conference at 5pm on Wednesday to discuss his time at UNGA.

The lunch kicked off at 1:27 pm, with the Secretary General offering the intro remarks. Trump sat with his arms crossed and occasionally nodded. Secretary General offered a toast and Trump took a sip of what appeared to be a glass of red wine after the toast.

Trump began his remarks at 1:31 pm. Ive long said the United Nations has great potential...

He said his tone on North Korea has shifted since this time last year...and a lot of the conflict including trade conflict should disappear by this time next year.

His toast ended at 1:33pm

Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa is seated at Trumps table as is Croatia president, others unknown

Pompeo is seated at Trudeaus table, with Russian foreign minister at table toward the back, president of turkey walked in as pool exited

Spotted: Canadian Prime minister Justin Trudeau briefly approached Trump and shook his hand as Trump stayed seated at the head table just before lunch started.

Arrived back at Trump Tower at 3:12, with no sighting of Trump.

One is a poser/usurper/globalist/Marxist hellbent on destroying this great nation, the other is a God-sent patriot.....giving everything he has to defend and preserve these United States.

Pool is on the move back to Trump Tower at 3:04pm. We loaded into the vans, with no sighting of Trump and passed by the Trump World Tower as we exited the UN complex.

More cops than spectators as the motorcade drives through midtown.

Early this evening, the president is scheduled to attend a closed press reception at the United States Mission at the UN.

An additional note from the luncheon at the UN: Trump mingled and shook hands with just a few foreign leaders before the lunch started including with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Pool is heading back toward the UN in the motorcade at 5:50pm with no sighting of Trump. We loaded into vans on a different street from the beast.

Early this evening, the president is scheduled to attend a closed press reception at the United States Mission at the UN. We have asked the press office for a list of attendees.

A little before 6 p.m., we arrived at the United States Mission to the UN, a building across the street from the United Nations complex. Inside the lobby is a famous Calder sculpture (h/t Anne Gearan for noticing).

Pool is holding in a lunch room, where someone turned the TV to Fox News.

Still no sighting of President Trump. Again, he is slated to attend a closed press reception this evening.

Katz was listed as having raised $29,000 for Hillary at that point in 2015. The memo’s donor/fundraiser information on her also indicated that Hillary had last seen Katz at a fundraising event hosted by Frank and Sylvia White on September 2015.....
