in the early to mid 90s spent a lot of time in your area. My good friend Pauls brother lived in Hamilton and his father (who was nearing 100) lived in St. Catharines. Paul is now in his early 90s. We did a lot of biking whenever we visited his dad and played poker and ate some nice meals out. Lots of good memories of that area and the visits. I have since been a lover of all things ontario. My honeymoon in late 60s was Muskoka, Algonquin etc. 4 weeks. I love the Shaw festival, wineries, Strafford Shakespeare festival, Welland Canal and of course the gorgeous gardens in Niagara and all things Niagra Falls related.
My fav restaurant in Niagara Falls is no longer there under that name - Frank’s Tomato Pie. BUT there is still a nice restaurant in the spot and that is where I go when in NF for a meal(and where we wanted you to join us). They have a great menu, nice patio area, good wine list and amazing food
The ambiance and artwork at the old FTP was fun. He commissioned an artist to do many famous classics but included prominently a tomato.
