Booker is trying to explain why he came out almost immediately against Kav. Why was it so despicable for republicans to have already made their minds up to vote for Kavanaugh?
But it was just fine for democrats to have made their minds up to vote against Kavanaugh in support of Christine Ford?

You have it right. They can start it Saturday. Wait 48 hours then call for the vote on Monday which starts a 30 hour debate process allowing them then to vote on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on when they start the 30 hour clock on Monday.
