How about starting the week with a heartwarming story about a hero. You know, we all can be heroes and heroines. I fear that the terrible onslaught of negative evil news from the mainstream just drowns out the good news that happens all the time, and no one gets to know about it.
Thank you so much for posting that story. It was just what I needed to read about today.
So, I guess that really does happen, where animals will sometimes ‘ask’ a human being for help that way.
Todas Tres Gatos, juntos de nuevo!
(All 3 cats, together again!!)
bttt
Wonderful story! So happy the kitties are safe now. I’d MUCH rather read a story like this than multiple stories about a lying skank like Blasey Fraud. Her, I would have left down the sewer-—it’s her natural environment, after all.
Yep, it’s great to read about happy endings and this fits the bill. Piper’s a lucky lil feller that so many were willing to go out of their way to save him.
All three are lucky because now they have a chance at finding loving homes.
So sweet! I’m so tired of politics and this hits the spot!
A moma cat was apparently living under our shop. We were not aware of this. One day she came out and was begging for food and help. She had kittens and was not well fed. She was very scared but desperate. We feed them everyday now. When we are able to capture the Moma she will be taken to the Vet and fixed and given shots and taken back to the shop. Will do the same for the kittens when they are old enough. All she wanted was help for her and her kittens. She got it.
A few years ago another cat adopted us at the shop. She now lives at home with us. She is a very loving cat. If you open the front door she looks out and kinda says, “you got to be kidding, I aint going out there anymore, life is good inside the house.” We had been feeding her at the shop. It was a bitterly cold day when she begged to come inside the shop. My wife put her in a cage and brought her home. She has been a good cat. If I shrimp my cats eat shrimp also.
Cats adopt you.

Great story and pictures.
Thanks for posting this daybrightener.
Smart cat. Animals are smarter than they are given credit.

St.Francis of Assisi is very happy knowing this.
We had a cat we adopted from a shelter. A scruffy scared little thing we called “Abbey’’. She must have had a hard life. She had only about five teeth, had a skin condition(which we cleared up) and scared of just about everything. After we got her home and used to our other cats after a while she did fine. She was such a sweet little thing. Never wanted to be anywhere near a door or even a window. She went to her food bowl, her litter box and then right back to her favorite spot on the couch. That’s all she ever wanted. She had a good life and passed away a few years ago.
Calico mama ....lovely....wonder why only females do calico
Anyhow....a wild truly wild domestic kitten will eat you up if scared
I used to own a warehouse complex
We had a big Black Russian looking Tom and his harem who lived all over the place
My manager collected up about a dozen kittens one time and put them in a big box to take to her huge horse farm in central Kentucky
140 skipper quarter horses
Several barns perfect for kitties
She told me to reach in the box and get one ....a trick I dont know better
Man I had about 4-5 of them latch onto and eat my hand up....man she cackled her butt off
I pulled my hand out and had a dozen little bites and cutes like a nest of vipers
Not something I have forgotten
Thanks for posting.
God bless these people. Thanks for posting.
Great antidote to politics overload! Beautiful story.
Mothers protect their children. It’s an integral part of mammal nature. We share this facet of our nature with mammals.
Except in the case of raging, fangtooth feminazis who hate their babies because they are a symbol of the hated patriarchy. Of course, that’s insanity because it contradicts their human nature.
