You'd have doctors operating on you who never went to medical school, but they're black or Hispanic, so they're qualified. ALL that the schools chancellor moron Carranza has EVER talked about since he arrived is "equality" and "diversity". Not a word about academic achievement, except to make excuses for why blacks and Hispanics haven't made much. No mention of their cutting classes, disrupting classes, failing to do any work, hanging out with gangs, etc. Naw---it's that the schools are not diverse enough.

Make the school completely diverse by forcing all of the White students out and making them attend a school all by themselves, where merit matters, and where they are punished every single day by the absence of diversity.

This decision is going to reduce the value of being in that school, I guarantee you. Word will get out that if you say you ‘graduated’ from Brooklyn Performing Arts, that probably means you went there as a last resort. You went there because you are not good enough to pass any standardized tests.

You went there because you were not very confident of your own skills or talents, and just wanted to move out of the family home into a Party College with all kinds of Safe Rooms. Local businesses will know that too. When they see BPA on your resume, they will know there is a good chance they are dealing with someone of meager talent who is not disciplined or ready for a fast paced schedule.
