“Deplaned” is one of those dry clinical words the leftwing media uses to get us all accustomed to being treated like Fed-Ex pallets.

Sounds like a cabin pressure problem.

Not the kind of PR that increases butts in seats.

I don’t think it’s the pilot’s job to press the bleed switch. I could be wrong.

I thought it was automatic unless manually switched off. Or tripped by a smoke detector, etc. But maybe you have to manually switch it to automatic?
If the bleed air was off, then the interting system probably was, as well (that is, if they bother with interting in third world countries). And anti-icing. And maybe some other systems. I don’t recall what all bleed air does these days.
If not the pilot, are you looking to the co-pilot?

Jet Airways plane turns back after passengers suffer nose, ear bleeds<<<
During climb, crew forgot to select bleed switch
Shouldn't that be the other way around? This is all very confusing.
A Jet Airways flight from Mumbai to Jaipur was forced to turn back...
Ah see, there you go!

Airbus 321:
1. Conditioned air is distributed to: Cockpit, cargo bays and cabin? Cockpit, fwd and aft cabins? Cockpit, avionics bay and cabin? Cockpit, cabin and holds 1 and 2 only?
Correct Answer:
Cockpit, fwd and aft cabins

Better than being defenestrated,If I remember correctly (it has been decades since I flew in a 737) the windows in a 737 are way too small to toss almost anyone but a child out of..

Two completely different aircraft but handles pretty much the same. I’ve flown jump seat in several B737’s and not as automated as the A321 IMPO.
